Ryan Shehan

„Hello everyone, my name is Ryan Shehan. I’m from Austin, Texas and I’m 15 years old. I’ve been racing since 2014 and after a really productive test day I was offered the opportunity to race in the F4 U.S. Championship in 2021 with Crosslink Competition. I look forward to this amazing opportunity and can’t thank Crosslink Competition and my partners Stilo USA and Lucky Design USA for putting their trust in me and supporting my career“ ~ Ryan Shehan

Ryan started karting at the age of nine at a track just an hour from his home. After winning the Texas Sprint Race Series early in his career, he went on to race in national and international karting events like the SKUSA Series, ROK Cup USA or the Rotax International Trophy. Back in 2019 he joined Crosslink Competition and takes advantage of the combined karting and car program of the team. Later in the same year, Ryan was able to represent his country in Le Mans, France at the Rotax International Trophy, where he finished ninth out of 84. A promising start into the 2020 campaign, where Ryan was set to compete at both the SKUSA Winter Series and ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour, came to an abrupt halt after a heavy crash in testing left Ryan with injuries to his head, jaw, back, arm and legs including major burns. He returned to competition in April and achieved several Top 10‘s at senior stage national events and became vice champion in the Texas Sprint Racing Series. For 2021, Ryan looks forward to a full year of senior kart competition and racing cars in the F4 US Championship!
